How Crush AI protects your privacy

Who we are

Crush AI ("Crush AI", "we", "our", or "us") operates the Crush AI mobile and web applications. We built this policy to explain how we handle your information when you use our AI dating assistant.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Screenshots and uploaded content. Images, text, or audio snippets you share for analysis. We apply automatic masking for phone numbers and names before processing.
• Generated replies. Drafts and saved favorites you create with Crush AI so you can revisit or edit them later.
• Usage analytics. Device type, feature taps, crash logs, and aggregate performance metrics. We use lightweight analytics with privacy-friendly defaults.

How we use your information

We process your data to:

• Provide the Crush AI service and generate personalized replies.
• Maintain security, detect abuse, and debug technical issues.
• Improve tone models, redaction accuracy, and new features.
• Communicate updates, support responses, and product tips.

Lawful bases

For users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases under GDPR:

• Performance of a contract to deliver the core Crush AI experience.
• Legitimate interests to secure and improve the product, balanced against your rights.
• Consent when you opt into beta experiments, marketing emails, or share testimonials.

Retention

Screenshots and analysis artifacts remain on-device unless you enable cloud backup. If cloud backup is enabled, uploads are automatically purged after 30 days unless you save them to your library. Favorites persist until you delete them. We retain minimal analytics for up to 18 months to understand product trends.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with:

• Model providers. Trusted AI infrastructure partners who help generate replies. They only receive masked snippets and operate under strict contracts.
• Cloud hosting providers. Secure storage and compute services required to deliver Crush AI.
• Analytics and crash reporting tools.Privacy-centric platforms that help us monitor performance.

Every partner must follow comparable security controls and may not use your data for independent purposes.

International transfers

Crush AI is based in the United States and may process information in other countries where our partners operate. When we transfer data internationally, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or similar mechanisms required by local law.

Your rights

You can exercise the following rights, subject to local laws:

• Access and receive a copy of your personal data.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Data portability for information you provided to us.

Children's privacy

Crush AI is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

California and Virginia disclosures

If you reside in California or Virginia, you have additional rights under CCPA/CPRA and VCDPA, including the right to opt out of data sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising (which we do not perform) and the right to limit use of sensitive data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
